Hi, I am Viktoriya.

I am looking for a job/internship position where I can apply my technical and designer skills as well as knowledge of various software products. I believe I can bring a new perspective and know-how to your company, and I am ready to start now!

In 2021, I received a professional degree in Graphic Design and Photography at Pekka Halonen Academy of Art. Currently, I am the last year student in the Business Information Technology programme at Laurea University of Applied Sciences.

As a graphic designer, I designed visuals for the SAKUstars competition named “Reusing the old is better” (in Finnish “Vanhassa vara parempi”), which took place on 26th-28th April 2022. My work included designing the event logo, graphic design of the website (https://sakustars.fi/2022/), and a range of deliverables such as banners, roll-ups, posters, animations, postcards, printings for T-shirts and caps, emblems, stickers and more. For this project, I used Adobe Creative Cloud tools: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PremierePro, and After Effects. WordPress was used for creating the website.

In 2022, I completed the Service Design course at Laurea where I participated in the project for SATO company. In the same year, I started the User-Centered Design (UCD) of Digital Services course where I did the LyckanHub project for Lapinjärvi municipality. In October I received the "Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate" Google Course Certificate from Coursera. In 2023, I completed Digital Analytics and Consumer Insight, Defining and Designing a Software Product, Introduction to Mobile App Design and Development, and Full Stack Development courses. During those studies, I learned to think as a UI/UX Designer throughout developing real apps. I learned UCD process steps while doing my Bachelor's thesis. I would describe myself as being strongly motivated and ambitious at the same time. I am creative and solve problems without needing the help of coworkers or managers. On the other hand, I know when to ask for help and I don't stay quiet when I do need assistance. I am a fast learner and I am eager to expand my skillset. Furthermore, I am passionate about studying clients’ needs and enthusiastic about finding the best technical realisation of their requirements.
